I couldn't even manage to finish it, dude. Like, the Bad Romance video was SO GOOD, and then she's just done these two really long, weird, not-good videos, and I don't really get it.
And it made less than no sense with the song. Alejandro's about some Latin guy who's "hot like Mexico," then the music video's got this whole snowy bionic european semi-religious almost vampirey thing going on. Not to mention all the ripped guys in pumps and bowl cuts. Just very weird.
Are the videos ever what we expect, though? I mean, Bad Romance = destructive relationship = Russian sex slavery? Telephone = not wanting to be bothered while dancing in a club = lesbian prison break? Still, yeah, I don't think any of them have been nearly as good as Bad Romance.
That is very true, especially w/the Telephone video (which I tend to block/try to forget I ever saw). But, however out-of-left-field it is, you can at least say that becoming a Russian sex slave does not exactly constitute a good romance.
