Merry Christmas meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Um, wow. I'm extremely excited (and overwhelmed with everyone's generosity!), and ...also a little embarrassed. I'm going to have to throw out some stuff, move things around, and find prominent storage space for an entire shelf's-worth-o-Trek somewhere. Darn. :)
In less geeky news, it's my parents' 40th anniversary today! Yay!!! Months ago, my mother sneakily went through old albums and collected photographs of the two of them over the years, and had them put into a slide show set to old songs of theirs. Since May, she's been giddily looking forward to today when she could finally show it to my dad. She wasn't disappointed -- he cried through the entire thing, then insisted on watching it four more times.

ReplyDeleteAnd woo-hoo Trek! Maybe by summer, I'll be up to S6 and we can marathon some more. (I also skipped the S2 finale because it was reportedly awful, but maybe we could watch it ironically.) Congrats on the loot!
